Best Western Plus Humboldt House Inn Garberville, Garberville

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were perfect for our family to hang out and enjoy some downtime – very spacious, maintained temperature, comfortable, with a great kitchen size. However, they did smell awful, like someone had peed all over the room. The service was a mix of very pleasant and helpful moments along with abrupt interactions at check-in. The location was convenient, right off the Avenue of the Giants and pretty easy to get to, although it was in a neighborhood that was fairly loud at night during my stay. The dining experience was good, offering a variety of options, but the available space was limited.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, despite a mishap with the first one, turned out to be very large, clean, and comfortable with a private balcony, but the replacement room had a cleanliness issue. The service was friendly and helpful, though there was a slight delay at the check-in desk. The location was great for exploring the area, especially for families and dog owners, but it lacked some charm. The dining options were better than the average continental breakfast, with indulgent pastries.

Although my check-in was delayed by half an hour, the room was worth the wait with its spacious and clean atmosphere. The service was exceptional, with a very helpful staff that genuinely cared about making my stay comfortable. The location was wonderful, especially for exploring the Humboldt Redwood State Park. Overall, a great stay with minor inconveniences.
